If you pay for your own sessions
When you pay your tutor yourself, your portal shows your own balance, invoices and payments, and nobody else's.
For students. Updated October 2026.
Where to find it
Your portal's Billing
Steps
Open the invite your tutor sent and accept it.
It says you've been invited to manage your own tutoring, with your schedule, balance and invoices.
Open Billing.
Your Balance due comes first, then your Invoices and your Payment history.
Open an invoice to see what's paid and what's left, and press Download PDF to keep a copy.
An example
Dana Haddad on 30 September. Her last invoice is paid, and her session of 16 September isn't on an invoice yet.
- Not invoiced yet, 1 session in September
- AED 250
- Balance due
- AED 250
Good to know
- You see your own money only. Never a family's, and never another student's.
- Your balance works like a parent's: Understand your balance explains each line.
- You pay your tutor directly, the way you agreed. They record it, and it shows in Payment history.
- Your Schedule, the notes your tutor shares and your report cards are there too.
If something's not right
"This student is no longer billed on their own. Ask your tutor."
Since sending the invite, your tutor has moved you into a family or marked you as inactive. Ask them about it.
