Understand your balance
What Balance due, Left to pay on invoices and Not invoiced yet mean, and how they add up.
For parents. Updated October 2026.
Where to find it
Your portal's Billing
Home shows the same card, with View billing.
Steps
Open Billing.
Each tutor has a section of their own, with your balance first.

Read Balance due.
It's what you owe your tutor today for sessions that have already happened.
Read the lines under it to see where it comes from: Left to pay on invoices, Not invoiced yet and, when you've paid early, Paid ahead.
An example
Mariam Al Mansouri on 30 September. Three invoices still have money left on them, and Omar's session of 29 September isn't on an invoice yet.
- Left to pay on invoices
- AED 1,830.50
- Not invoiced yet, 1 session in September
- AED 150
- Balance due
- AED 1,980.50
Good to know
- Left to pay on invoices is what's still to pay on the invoices your tutor has issued.
- Not invoiced yet is for sessions that have happened but aren't on an invoice you can see yet. It shows how many and when.
- A session marked Cancelled late or No-show can count too, when your tutor charges for it.
- Paid ahead is money you paid beyond what's due. It's taken off, and it counts toward your next invoice.
- When an invoice is past its due date with money left on it, a red chip says how much is overdue.
- If you've paid more than your sessions so far, the card reads Credit balance, in green.
- Your tutor sees the same figure. With two families, or your own sessions too, each has its own card, never added together.
If something's not right
My balance doesn't include a payment I made.
It changes only when your tutor records the payment. Tell them the date and the amount.
Balance due is more than my invoices.
The difference is Not invoiced yet: sessions that have happened but aren't on an invoice yet.
