How paying your tutor works

You pay your tutor directly, the way you agreed; they record each payment, and your balance updates.

Your portal's Billing, under Payment history

Home shows your Recent payments.

Pay your tutor the way you agreed with them, for example by bank transfer or in cash.
Optional: Tell your tutor which invoices it's for, if you pay more than one at once.
Once your tutor records it, open Billing.
It's in Payment history with the invoices it paid, and your Balance due goes down by the amount.

Tutello never takes money from you. The portal shows what you owe and what you've paid, and the paying happens between you and your tutor.
Nothing changes in your portal until your tutor records the payment, and you aren't sent a message when they do.
One payment can pay several invoices. It shows once, with each invoice number, and the oldest invoice is paid first.
A payment that wasn't for one invoice in particular counts toward your oldest unpaid invoice first.
If you pay more than you owe, the extra shows as Paid ahead and counts toward your next invoice.
Each payment shows how it was paid: Cash, Bank transfer, Card, Cheque or Other.

Your tutor hasn't recorded it yet. Send them the date, the amount and how you paid.

Only your tutor can correct it. They delete it and record it again, and your balance follows.
