Portal Terms

These terms are deliberately short. They apply to anyone accessing the Tutello Client Portal by invitation from a tutor. Tutors are governed by the Terms of Service at part A.
1. Who these terms are with
The Client Portal is provided by HCIT DIGITAL AND AI CONSULTING, Economic Licence CN-6345766, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (the "Operator").
"You" means the person accepting an invitation to the Client Portal. "Your Tutor" means the tutor who issued that invitation.
You accept these terms once, when you accept your invitation. No payment of any kind is due from you to the Operator.
2. What the Client Portal is
The Client Portal allows you to view records that Your Tutor keeps about tutoring provided to you or to a student in your care.
The Client Portal is read-only. You cannot create, alter or delete any record through it, and you cannot book, reschedule or cancel sessions through it.
What you can see depends on the role Your Tutor assigned to your invitation:
- (a)a parent or guardian may view scheduling, notes marked as shared, invoices, payments and the balance owed for their family;
- (b)an adult learner responsible for their own fees may view the same information in respect of themselves;
- (c)a student linked to a family may view scheduling and notes marked as shared only, and is never shown fees, rates, balances or invoices.
The Operator does not take payment from you. Any amount shown is owed to Your Tutor, and is paid to Your Tutor by whatever means you and Your Tutor have agreed.
3. Your Tutor controls the information
Your Tutor decides what information is recorded and what is visible to you. The Operator holds that information on Your Tutor's behalf and does not decide its content.
If information about you is inaccurate, out of date or should be removed, contact Your Tutor in the first instance. If Your Tutor is unable to assist, you may contact the Operator at support@tutello.ae.
Your Tutor may end your access at any time. Your access may also end if Your Tutor closes their account.

4. Your account
Access is by federated sign-in or single-use email link. There is no password.
Your invitation is personal to you. Do not forward it or share access, as anyone holding the link or your sign-in may see the information described in clause 2.3.
If you believe someone else has gained access to your account, tell Your Tutor and email support@tutello.ae.
One account may hold invitations from more than one tutor. Information from different tutors is kept separate and is never combined.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Client Portal only to view information relating to you or to a student in your care. You must not attempt to access anyone else's information, test the security of the service, or extract data by automated means.
6. Availability, liability and law
The Client Portal is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". No uptime commitment is given.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to clause 6.2, and because the Client Portal is provided to you at no charge, the Operator's total liability to you in connection with the Client Portal shall not exceed one hundred United States dollars (USD 100). The Operator is not liable for the accuracy of information entered by Your Tutor, nor for any dispute between you and Your Tutor, including any dispute about fees.
The Operator may amend these terms. Material amendments take effect not less than thirty (30) days after notice, and require renewed acceptance on next sign-in.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
